A Welcome Message from our Worshipful Master

Welcome to the website for The Oakley Lodge No.8958, based in the Province of West Kent and who regularly meet at Oakley House, Bromley Common, Kent.

We have made this website with the purpose of generating interest in those who are not Freemasons to visit our site, and other brethren who wish to visit us.

It has been 20 years since I was Worshipful Master and it is a wonderful honour to be asked to go into the Chair again; a very humbling experience and one that the Brethren made the best evenings of Masonry I have ever had.

We have a busy year ahead of us with a new Candidate plus Second & Third Degree ceremonies to perform. In addition, we shall also have a very interesting and entertaining talk at the March 2027 meeting plus a Ladies Festival & LOI Supper.

As well as welcoming a new member & performing ceremonies, I hope to make it a fun year for all the members and give them some happy & long lasting memories always remembering that this is a fun, interesting and rewarding hobby.

We have our Lodge of Instruction every Friday evening between September and May and it is well attended. With the help of senior members, our ceremonies are not to be missed.
